Blessed

In our Relief Society lesson today the teacher asked if we ever feel we get blessings we don't deserve. I do. I definitely do. All the time. My life is made of them!

Today my big blessing is our little baby. Not just the fact that we've managed to create a life, but that this life is going to be blessed with the greatest family in the world! Knowing that I have my mum, dad, sister and brother in my life makes me realise that whatever mine and Dave's failings as parents may be, they will have grandparents and aunts and uncles that can make up for our mishaps! Perhaps the reason we're being blessed with ickle pip is because of how amazing they are :D that definitely makes more sense :D A weekend with them makes me realise why eternal families in the next life is going to be so unbelievably magical! Who wouldn't want to spend forever with the Vingoe's :D

Little pip there's some pretty special people waiting to meet you! But you already know that ;)

5 weeks and beyond!!!

Only 5 weeks to go! Baby Patrick could be here in a month!!! And I'm very excited to meet them and finally find out what they are!!! We're thinking of taking bets soon :D we just need to work out what the person wins if they get the sex, date and weight right... any ideas??

My baby app for the 35 week mark says "His elbows, feet or head may protrude from your stomach when he stretches and squirms about"- they are not lying! It's creepy as I can kinda push baby from one side to the other if they're squishing me too much! Not much more room in there methinks! Starting to love my stretchmarks a little bit though... granted it's a good job I'm not a bikini kinda lady, for everyone else's benefit, but I do love how I have this band round my middle that looks like a volcano :D

Was Davey Babes birthday yesterday- he's 27 now!!! What an old man.... don't know why but there seems to be a huge age gap between 21 and 27... I broke the sad news to him last night that when little pip is 20 he'll be 47, and I'll be a hot momma at 41 ;) hehe...

Anyways! Here's a few more outfits! It's official! My autumn/winter wardrobe is on it's way out :D hello maternity jeans ;)

Not long now peeps! Wish me luck as I become larger and more incapable of doing anything! Yesterday when I was walking back from town with hubby I was huffing and puffing all achy and Dave was asking if I wanted him to carry anything for me (all I was carrying was a hot chocolate and a cake! Good combo I know ;) ) and I was just like... it's the baby I need you to carry! He did try to lift it and be all cute for me (yep the hubster is capable of cuteness ;) even at 27 hehe) but yep... think my daily errands into town and bringing home a couple of bags of shopping are over :( methinks Londis will be becoming my new best friend!

Ta'ra ma luvs! <3

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock...

6 weeks to go! Maybe even less!!! Who knows?!! I jolly well wish I did :)

To aid in my countdown I have decided I am going to make the most of shops getting too excited for Christmas and buy an advent calendar for October :) one benefit of having a baby due the 25th :) but aiming to get one that goes to New Years... you know.. just in case, otherwise I think life would be unbearable if I was overdue and had no chocolate left :( I shall let you know which one I purchase! Shall have to be a gender equal one too so baby doesn't take offence!

In need of a wee catch up methinks!

We spent a lovely weekend last weekend in Leeds catching up with my bro in his new swanky bachelor pad (hubby was a wee bit jealous methinks!), and friends from our old ward- especially a certain beautiful little family called the Parr's who have a gorgeous little girlie who Davey Babes fell in love with just a little bit! He said he was trying to impress me with his daddy skills but I think he was just charmed by her rather a lot! But who wouldn't be! :)

Then Tuesday was our 2nd anniversary :D we spent a lovely evening together sharing presents (mainly of the chocolate variety), going to a VERY yummy italian restaurant (it's like PROPER italian as it's family run and there was a little family argument in italian in the middle of dinner :) defo added to the atmosphere! LOVED IT! The head chef, and I imagine the big daddy of the company just kept shouting "FINITO"!), and watching The Hunger Games :D was well worth the wait! The past 2 years have been a whirlwind! This past year especially! We've achieved so much it's truly magical and can only be because of a wonderful loving Heavenly Father, and earthly family, who have blessed us soooooooo much!! A marriage is really made up of love from so many sources :) though the love between us cheesy two has definitely grown, and no doubt will explode even more once little pip arrives! The mind boggles!!

I would do a separate post on my wee fashion experiments.. but let's be honest... what is the point :D

Comfy and colourful!

My favouritist fashion discovery this week!

Shirt: Levi's, Vest: River Island, Skirt: New Look (got it a year or so ago for £2!! Got it in blue too! I know a bargain when I see one! Though it's not very maxi skirt in this given the bump! But the stretchiness is very handy :D)

Quite impressed with myself actually now :D Check me out! Though today's outfit was less exciting hence no picture :D muahahahaha... why destroy the illusion!

Okay, brain is not functioning anymore! Pregnant Bethy Bonss needs milk and double stuffed oreos :D ooooooo yah!!

Bounteous Bump!

32 weeks + 6 days! Tomorrow will be 7 weeks to go! When did I hit the under 10 mark?? Though that does mean 7 more weeks of nearly non-existent sleep, followed probably be at least another 7 weeks of non-existent sleep! But at least I'll be able to sleep on my back again! :D Also that's 7 weeks to get my baby journal fully up to date! Nearly reached the 24 week mark! I WILL get there! Well I've not really got anything else to do :) apart from baby's big alphabet cross-stitch which is coming on very nicely :D

I am finding baby's movements more fun now though rather than creepy... though it's still rather freaky when you feel like a proper little foot shoving against you!

I've decided that, given my ample free countdown time, to document my bumpy outfits as sometimes I impress myself with how fashionable I manage to look with such an extension on my body! Today was one of those days! I love it especially when they're my normal non maternity clothes :D makes me glad that I haven't spent tons of money on maternity clothes which is ever so tempting! Here's today's outfit!

Top: Primark, Belt: H&M, Skirt: River Island, Shoes: Primark, Ring: Primark

And from memory I'm pretty sure the whole outfit's price is around £28! :D That makes me happy! Primark and sales are definitely my friend!

Bought a new dress today for a fiver from a charity shop, and hoping to be able to work it! That's if it fits with this balloon on the front of me! If not it shall have to wait till November!

(P.S. have you noticed how good I am at cropping my head out of outfit pics :) lets just say my face and hair are often far from presentable :D hair more so as it gets me all worn out and sweaty doing something with it! Thanks little pip ;) )
