I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited to be back at uni :) It was my first day today, of scary thirdyearness :) Granted I was only in for one hour... but still.... I'M LOVING IT!!! Gonna kick some academic butt this year- for sho!! I've already got a book out the library and done some further reading from my first lecture!! Check out the geek :D woop woop!!
To add to the just general buzziness and greatness, I have found out that I've got my first choice for my dissertation and quite literally an AMAZING dissertation tutor!!! My dissertation is going to be about religion and crime :) we've not done a single thing on the relationship between religion and crime... but I just know it's going to be sooooooo interesting, and keep me intrigued, and not cause death by boredom!! It's basically going to be focused on whether people being religious stops them from offending- if so why?- is it the belief system or because they feel responsible to a community as such.. they belong somewhere etc.... will also hopefully be able to touch upon how prisoners who are converted to a religion do not reoffend... SUPER DUPER EXCITED!!
Apologies for the geeky post... but boy oh boy, I just can't keep it all bottled inside!!!!!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Love love.....

When I grow up....
Since I was little I have never really known what I've wanted to be when I grow up. My mind was always uncertain- I remember my first career choice when I was 10 or so, was to be a hairdresser- and let's just say it's a good job I didn't pursue that, after the misadventure of cutting my fringe..... plus the whole burning my hair off incident circa 2007.....
Then I wanted to be a Primary School teacher....then a childminder like my mummy......then an R.E teacher (still a distant possibility in my mind).... then a psychotherapist like my dad....
Then I decided to study Criminology and Criminal Justice... just out of interest- and boy has it kept me interested!!! I officially LOVE my course.... so this then brought questions of "so what job are you going to do with that?" I found myself making up answers just so I didn't look like a fool, e.g. working with young offenders, or families of victims and offenders. To be honest, I do think these are interesting possibilities...but I just keep thinking it's not for me...would probably be rather depressing....
Now I do have a career I want to pursue (other than that of being a mother- yep had to get that cheese in there ;)... but I always feel a wee bit of a fool telling people- as if they're going to laugh at me and say "as if!!!" But today, I was presented with a survey from uni... it went something like this....
1) Do you know what career you wish to pursue?
I nervously circled yes... feeling the weight of the questions to come...
2) Please select from the following.. (a huge list of law/crime related jobs-understandable obviously!!)
Right at the bottom was "Other" my friend :D so I circled... but then I had to "specify"... not so friendly... rather intimidating actually... so I quickly scribbled "Fiction writer".... to make myself feel a bit better I also circled "Youth worker/probation officer", writing that I was also interested in this... perhaps trying to prove my sanity...
3) What are you planning to do post graduation? Do you already have a job in line?
Pffftttt.... THE PRESSURE!! I swear I combusted a wee bit inside... so I wrote... kinda a bit embarassed... "Start/continue to write, and submit to publishers." Then again I proved my sanity by following it with "I'm also interested in doing a Masters if the money is there!!" Which isn't a lie- I would LOVE to... but.. yeh... the money is definitely not there!!!!
I then strategically waited to hand it in, so that someone elses would quickly be put on top, so the lady didn't read it and stare at me as if I had just said I wanted to be an astronaut....
So yes.... was a bit of an adventure!! However I do feel that now having said it "outloud" at such, it is like admitting an addiction... so the more I say it, the better things will get....

Forever is a long long time....
There's a song from a Mormon musical called Star Child... actually lets consult the marvelousness that is youtube.... (toddles off to open new tab...) no luck! Anyways... it talks about when considering the person that you marry, you should remember that forever is a long long time :)
So this song never fails to enter my head when I think of the eternities and having to spend them with not only Davey Babes but my family!! But I'm pretty lucky! My family are quite literally the best people to spend eternity with :) no kidding!!
My ma and pa are up in Leeds visiting for the weekend, and today, we were all sat after a family nap and Rella Roo called (the skin and blister) and we put her on speaker phone and had a good ol' family chat :) We somehow manage to include everyone in everything, even when someone may be miles and miles away!!
As I type type type away... ma and pa are asleep in our bed (most definitely having a chorus of their oh so special snorring song)... I'm in a sleeping bag on the sofa...hubby is playing Black Ops (don't worry I played a couple of games too, and ruled...then got sleepy so came off before sleepiness effected ma skillz)... and Chris has somehow willingly managed to be employed by Dave to mine gold on World of Warcraft.... lets just hope his interest doen't delve any further!!

I'm a terrible..terrible blogger!!
That is what I am! No question about it! I try to set myself a structure and everything and I still manage to fail!! So I think I'm just gonna chilax (as if I could relax any more tbh!), and just bloggedee blog when I feel like it- which I'm hoping will be more often than not!!
So today I am going to share with you my most AWESOME nails!! Bought 2 Barry M cracked nail polishes in pink and white- and boy do I LOVE THEM!! Even Davey Babes and Christophe were super duperly impressed by it (perhaps its the magic sciency cracking before your eyes they love)- my brother said... I quote.. "If I was to paint my nails thats what I would use" :D They're both also up for face masks :) perhaps I should be worried about them- they do enjoy spending alot of time with each other! ;)
Anyways! So here's the finished effect! (By the way I am amazing at painting my nails :) not to be prideful or anything :D )
Pink on Vintage Blue Avon nail polish :) it's like babies on my toes!!
White on glittery black No.7 nail varnish :) The best thing about it is that they haven't chipped!!! :) Very very pleasing unto me!!
Oh man... I love painting my nails! May have to follow in my sisters recent footsteps and do a nail course so I can do all your lovelies nails and makes some beautiful money for doing beautiful things!!! You can check out Rella Roo's awesome talent at missmanipedi.co.uk in the pics mine are the cherry red nails :) I have very long fingers... thought you might want to know that intriguing fact!
Good to be back me loves!!!
Ciao!! xx

Mumsie- cont.
Blogger messed up!! Wouldn't let me carry on typing after the fab pics!! So here's the continuation!...
- We have like this supernatural connection!! I ALWAYS without exception, know the mood of me mother. If there's something bothering her, and pa is perplexed... I know :) it's a pretty awesome magical power to have! We're totally intune with each other. Like, on more than one occasion we've gone to call each other at the same time as the other one was going to call :)
- We call each other like every day!! All the time!!! :D She's always the first to know about everything that happens in my life (after Davey Babes), and the first to go to for advice!
- She is just the best friend and mum ever!! She even lets me call her Shell :) much to Rella's dismay ;) there is a reason though- when she was the bestest child minder ever all the ickle cute kiddies would get confused when I called her mum- as she wasn't their 'mum' as such, so I just called them Shell like them :) and it stuck :) sometimes that's the only thing she responds to :D hehe....
Family Thursdays- Mumsie :D
Time for my second spooner bestest buddy!! My mummy!! Here she is....
She's beautiful isn't she :) well here are the reasons why she's my bestest buddy :) like EVER!! And boy are there lots of things to share!!
She's CRAZY!! Just a tad loopy :) and she is more than willing to admit it! Anyone who has been in our family house on a few occasions is more than likely to have heard her playing her music very loud in the kitchen whilst singing- also very loudly! She can never hear the door or phone :) fab!!! In general she can have her mad moments- usually when she's around other crazy ladies, i.e. me, Rella Roo, Juwiiiaaaa, Hannah Banana and Kate :D Here is some evidence which I'm sure she'll be happy I'm sharing with the wide web :) hehe...
She's the one on the left :) Rella's on the right :D |

Using the Jacob the Sheep Rug as a nappy and doing an odd dance.... |
Pretending to be on a motorbike and dancing to Girls Aloud - 'Something Kinda Ooh'... boy if only I had the video :D hehe |

- Starting a ickle bit of house hunting, as the big bro may live with us next year :D hehe..
- Chocolate kelloggs crunchy nut clusters :) just can't get enough of them :D
- Searching for engineering jobs for Davey Babes..and getting just an ickle bit excited about the potential wages- but lets be honest any wage is heaven to 2 students :) hehe..

'M' for Mondays-memories...
Sorry I've left you blogless this weekend- been rather busy! This blog is kinda a mix of 'M' for Mondays, and Sacred Sundays (which will make up for my missings of yesterday, you'll be glad to know!).
My 'M' today is for memories!!! I have some AMAZING memories- I've had pretty much the greatest life full of happiness so far, and really hope it never ends!! :D But recently I've been reminded of a very special not too distant memory, which I wish never to forget, and really has become a big building block to my testimony, of the amazing gospel, which is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints... lets go back to the Sunday before my glorious wedding day.
The next Monday I was going to be moving mine and Davey Babes stuff into our new home, with the awesome help of Donkey :) hehe... a.k.a John, as it was only me moving it! So that Sunday night I was lying in bed in the WAG house, and boy did the heavens open!! Was chucking it down with rain! Like crazy crazy rain! So I was slightly concerned that the weather would be rainy the next day, and it would be terribly difficult and miserable, trying to move the multiple car loads from house to house. So I decided to pray to my Heavenly Father. I prayed and asked fervently that He would make the weather sunny for the next day, so that moving would be stress free. And I kinda propositioned Him (in a respectful way of course) saying that if He made the weather good for the Monday, it could rain on the wedding day, and I quite literally told him the times (numbers and everything) that it could rain- the morning, before the wedding, during the wedding service, whilst at the reception, during our travel to the temple, then any time after we were finished at the temple. Then I went to sleep...
Monday came, and too did the sunshine :) :) :) for this I was trully grateful, and moved all the stuff in mega quick.. no probs!
Then the wedding day came! My ma, Rella and I awoke in the morning to grey skies and showers... they were slightly more pessimistic, saying...it will be ok etc... but I said (with slight confidence) that it was ok, it was allowed to rain for next couple of hours...
The time then came to get things properly ready and the sun came out!!! :) :) :)
We got to the chapel, and during the service, the heavens quite literally opened again- you could hear the raindrops banging on the roof! The service then ended, and it was time for pics.... sunshine again :) :) :) got some BEAUT photos!!!! For example :)...
Then off to the reception.... whilst inside the rain came out!! :) :) :) by this time I knew the day was PERFECT and that Heavenly Father had well and truly answered my prayer and soooo much more!!! Had a few more pics after the reception= sunshine :) :) :)
We then got to the temple, and had the most beautiful sunshine and blue skies!! See....
After our beautiful time at the temple, we were a wee bit peckish, so ma and pa took us to McD's for cheeseburgers :) And whilst we were sat in the beast in the car park the rain came tumbling down, greater than ever before!! Peeps in the car were saying this and that, and I just smiled to myself and said 'My Heavenly Father loves me'. And this I know for sure now, and forever more, especially as I keep this memory with me forever- which I think it will :D
Many people could argue that it was just chance that the rain came and went throughout the day, exactly when Heavenly Father knew it could... but I, and hopefully you, know this isn't the case, as life would be that much sader to live... The End...

My favouritist little man!! Want kids just like him!! |
Then as soon as we got in the beast of a BMW to travel to Chorley, out came the rain :) :) :) (whilst Dave and I completely zonked out for an hour and a half :) meet the beast...

Family Thursdays
I saw a link on facebook a while ago that said that a best friend isn't your best friend until you've spooned them! If that's the case, then I have 4 best friends :D
Today shall be Dave's day :) Well I have gotta keep him happy!!
It is dead easy for me to say that I married my best friend :) it's like he's part of me :) even when he goes to uni without me, and we're apart for like 6hrs, he'll still call me 2 or three times for a chat. I'm starting to think we're gonna miss each other lots when he gets a big boys job, as we're together pretty much 24/7. Being around each other soooo much and not getting too annoyed with each other (he can be like an annoying little brother sometimes), just goes to prove methinks that we are bestest buddies.
So avoiding the mushy lovey dovey cheesehead stuff (as this post is about friendship), one of the best things about Dave is that he can be SUPER SILLY!! Here is proof.....
He does it completely randomly, with no encouragement from me (until the silliness is underway of course!!). However this cheekyness is used by him, in other ways... when he's in trouble. He quite literally is like a little kid, and he'll put on this little voice and pull a puppy dog face and say silly things, which make it incredibly hard to stay annoyed with him. I am slightly worried for when we have chidlers of our own, and the things he may teach them, which will make disciplining them very difficult! Well at least they'll be cute!!
You can guarentee that this silliness will come out to play when I am on the phone to Shell. It's as if he's fighting for my attention- but then it turns out he just wants the attention of mumsie, and he'll talk silly to her down the phone! I think my ma and hubby have the silliest relationship! You cannot be sad with them in your life- it's quite literally impossible!!
So yes, here's to my silly hubby who's the bestest buddy in the whole widest world!!
- Davey Babes (of course!!)
- My mumsie!
- Rella Roo (my skin and blister!)
- Hannah Banana!

TV Tuesdays :D
Ok it's official!! It's been FOREVER!! Quite literally!! My greatest apoligies, but I had to put my blogging to the side during my most wonderful end of year assignments and exams! They went well :) so I believe it was a good choice! So the past week I've been doing NOTHING!! And it has been AMAZING!! I keep thinking.. hmm what do I need to do, then realise I am FREE!!! For pretty much 4 months :) now that is a nice feeling indeed!! (Though I am going to try and get a job over the summer fingers crossed :). So yesh... during this chilaxed week, I have been blog brainstorming! And decided to structure myself some more-especially for the summer during my perhaps pending boredom hehe.. not that I am in anyway complaining ;). So for each day of the week I am going to have a different focus... Ta daaaaaa.....
Well here's my first TV Tuesday blog!!!
As many of you know, I study Criminal Justice and Criminology at uni (and no its not some artsy fartsy degree- it has quite literally changed my whole perception of crime and prison in a very good way!). Thus, I claim that my fascination and addiction to pretty much all crime programmes (have grown bored of CSI by the way), is because I am researching my degree, and expanding my knowledge!! But I also love many other tv programmes, so I shall share with you 2- that are on Tuesdays!! (Clever huh??? :)
SMALLVILLE!!!!!
Pippin and I were converted to this superhero goodness by Dave's younger brother Joe (who is AWESOME!!). The final season started tonight!! And boy is it exciting!! And I'm not even kidding- I don't watch it because of Tom Welling- though the Green Arrow = ;) ;) hehe... anyways.. it is just super duper cool... what is most exciting is that this is the season where Clark Kent FINALLY gets the good old primary colours out!!! WOOP WOOP!! Here's a sneaky preview ;)
Can't help but beam with joy!! :D Sooo yep not much more to say... it quite literally leaves one speechless (though Davey Babes always tells me off for making little comments here and there during the programme...naughty naughty!!)
JAMIE OLIVER!!
He's in LA trying to promote the food revolution, and it is ridiculous how they're not letting him into their school cafeterias to see the undoubtedly horrific food!! At this rate Americans are gonna kill themselves via diabetes, heart disease and all the other hundreds of diet related diseases!! So Jamie Oliver is the REAL superman for America- so LISTEN TO HIM!!! Arghhhhhh!! Frustrates me muchly!! So, yep... Jamie Oliver big hero- and not just because he makes the yummiest food EVER!!! And has SUPER cute kids!!!
So there's a snippet into my TV life- don't worry there is MUCH more to come... so much TV and sooo little time!!
Do any of you guys watch these AWESOME programmes?? :D If not yet- then you should :) join me in my laziness :D
Well... back to Jamie Oliver and our most wonderful telly... oh I have a wonderful life hehe... xx
- 'M' for Monday- contemplate things beginning with 'M' to do with my life!! Including 'mmmmmmm' for food :) hehe...
- TV Tuesdays- well hey, it is an actual hobby of mine- however anti-social :D hehe..
- Wonder Wednesdays- reveal the wonders of my life and what I'm thankful for.
- Family (Friends) Thursdays- dedicated to the most important people in my life :) may even get them to write a blog or two for me.
- Fashion Fridays- boy do I have some gems for you!! I've started sowing, and serious charity shopping!! I'm such a Molly Mormon!!
- Surprise Saturdays- a surprise ;) hehe what ever I feel like! Shall run WILD!!!
- Sacred Sundays- share my most precious experiences, and discoveries in the scriptures :)

Well... back to Jamie Oliver and our most wonderful telly... oh I have a wonderful life hehe... xx

Bedtime Stories
Last night I read a most wondiferous story in bed! Well a book really... but anyways....
I have heard lots about this book, and only ever really seen it in French (a wee clue there!).. but then I saw it in Oxfam Book shop (one of my most favouritist places in Headingley), and had to get it (plus it's on the BBCs 100 books to read before you die..or something like that!)
Sooooo anyways.. the book I am speaking of is 'The Little Prince'... and boy did I find some gems inside! Really did make me smile! :)
So I am going to share some of the beauties that revealed themselves unto me in this masterpiece!!

- "But he is not a man - he is a mushroom!"
- 'On our earth we are obviously much too small to clean out our volcanoes. That is why they bring no end of trouble upon us.'
- 'All humanity could be piled up on a small Pacific islet. The grown-ups, to be sure, will not believe you when you tell them that. They imagine that they fill a great deal of space. They fancy themselves as important as the baobabs.'
- 'And no grown-up will ever understand that this is a matter of so much importance.'

Every wedding a Royal Wedding!
I have decided that my next wedding to Dave and everyone that follows shall aim to be on par with the shenanigans of today :) (when I say next, I mean that I dream of re-enacting our wedding day every year on our anniversary- I've never been much of a collector, but I reckon I'd be pretty good at collecting wedding dresses :D).
I was rather excited about today :) I pretty much knew the schedule off by heart by the time it all started this morning! :D This glorious wedding day started with me waking from a rather disturbing dream! I dreamt that I was with the wedding party as such, but everyone went to the bride's hotel to see her before they went to the Abbey. So I was with her stylist (or something like that!) and we went and saw her (we were the first car to go), and she was wearing Princess Diana's dress and had cut her hair short and dyed it blonde.... was a bit creepy, and in my dream I was a bit more than gutted!
So we started watching from around 9am! :D Shell and Florence are up for the weekend, so they were already awake in our living room! And then we just watched away! Before Prince William and Harry left for the Abbey I quickly got dressed, making sure I wore red white and blue :) this was actually quite difficult as I discovered the only red pieces of apparel I own are scarves! So I kinda ended up rocking the nautical look for the Royalness! Then, just before the Duchess of Cambridge (in a most BEAUTIFUL dress- I have ooogled over dresses like that online before my big day) arrived, I painted my nails with blue glittery avon nail varnish (which was made to mark this royal occasion) on the tips and added lines of red and white on a couple of the nails- hubby helped with his awesome painting skills :D
I think my favourite part of the whole day, and the part that nearly made me tear up was when she was walking down the very very long aisle and HRH was waiting.. not turning around, and Prince Harry was saying 'Wait till you see her'. Was such a privilege to be a bird spying on their beautiful day! Though I also did love the driving in daddy's blue Astin Martin... was pretty fantabbydoodle... Oh and the 2 cheeky kisses, which I would have LOVED to have been even cheekier! Oh ok.... the whole thing was pretty darn amazing!!
We then went to a street party at church which was fun too, talking to a most wonderfullest couple Kate and Richard who never fail to make me laugh.... and also being SERIOUSLY, all jokes aside, beaten at an arm wrestle by an 8 year old!! She's not even big! I am most defintely WEAK!! hehe.....
So yep I just wanted to share my thoughts on this beautiful day! If only the country could be as united as it was today (or at least appeared to be ;) hehe.....
Britannia truly does rule the waves!!! <3

Procrastination Tuesday
I would love to say that I am writing this post as it has been soooooo long.... but in reality... it is because I am procrastinating from doing an assignment :( this is pretty much a norm.... it's not that I'm scared by all the work I've got to do, I've actually pretty much got it all sorted planning wise... it's just the commencement of typing that seems so difficult. I think I'm just lazy... anyways!!! Rant over!!
I do have some wonderful things to share with you about my day! (The past week has been fab visiting family too, shall talk about that more later :)...
So today:
Well I'm off to get some cake and munch my essay sorrows away!! Toodles!!! XX
I do have some wonderful things to share with you about my day! (The past week has been fab visiting family too, shall talk about that more later :)...
So today:
- Got to sleep in our bed (well last night, but it meant we woke up very happy this morning!) Nothing really beats your own bed!
- Caught up on all the TV I've missed the past week! (I'm starting to think that TV really is a hobby of mine..sad I know!!) And still to catch up on Desperate Housewives!!! Soooooo excited! Watching 90210 at the min, and Dave (yes Dave) realised that the geeky kid in it is the pyscho murdered in Desperate Housewives- that explains my uneasy feelings, and also proves that Dave can multi task as he watches most of my programmes whilst he plays black ops :) So there is hope for the male species ;)
- Went to Pizza Express for tea (2 courses for £10)- not as good as orange Wednesdays deal, but hubby's phone is broken :( I forgot just how much I LOVE TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA SALAD!! Made me have hungerlike pangs for the amazingness of Italy!!
- Bought a BIG FAT chocolate fudge cake from Sainsbury's as it cost the same as one slice from Pizza Express :) Shall be going for my second slice after this!
- Dave and I got £5 each from his Little Nana to buy ourselves easter eggs (she's AWESOME!!). And much to my delight, Sainsbury's had buy 1 get 2 free, at £2.50. So that's 6 eggs :) SUPERDEDUPERLY HAPPY!! The house is full of chocolate :)
- Last... and perhaps best of all, hubby treated me to some BEAUT purchases from ASOS (they've got an AMAZING sale on at the mo) and they are being delivered TOMORROW!!! AHHHH!!! So excited!! Lets hope they fit!! :D :D :D :D
Well I'm off to get some cake and munch my essay sorrows away!! Toodles!!! XX

Mamas and Papas :)
My mummy and daddy are the bestest IN THE WORLD!! FACT!!! Anyone who is willing to dispute this come see me... and I will quickly change your mind :)
The reason why I have been AWOL these past few days is because I was with my mama and papa :) and shall be seeing them again this weekend :D WOOP WOOP!!
We went down to Lynn for mother's day :) and boy do I love being 'home'- and by home I mean with the 'rents and in the most wonderfulest house in the world!! I wish we could just pick up number 17, and place it in a nice little space in Ilkley or somewhere like that :D
Anyways... I was thinking of you this weekend, and have taken photos for thee!! Though I did forget to take a pic of the celestial bathroom... shall have to save that for you next time we're back in paradise!!
So here's some of the reasons why I love the humble abode of Shell and Florence :)
Number 1 most definitely must be THE FOOD! (as everything is for me, lets be honest!! Speaking of which I had a delicious salad- yes a salad- from Pizza Express :).. On Friday we had a pretty much regular meal (meaning what we had throughout my most food privileged childhood)... but in comparison to mine and Dave's efforts (and we don't even have kids!!) it was AMAZING!! And here the meal be....
At the top we see my plate of toad in the hole with mash :) But because hubby isn't particularly keen on mash, amazing mummy made roasties just for him!! (Well she had to give a few to Christophe too, gotta keep him happy ya know ;) AND the boys got 4 sausages!!! It's safe to say this was all quickly gobbled up- and followed by ma's brownies :D yum yum!!
On Saturday I helped mum make homemade pizzas :) I chose the toppings- and boy am I a GENIUS!!! Here be the AMAZING pizzas!!
Hidden under the masses of cheese, we have mushrooms, chicken, tomatoes and salami :) was gooooood!!!
On the left we have ham, pineapple and mushrooms... and the right (my personal favourite) double pepporoni and cheese :) yum yum yum....
Didn't get any pics of the other meals... but they were.... Sunday- roast chicken with all the trimmings and HOMEMADE CHEESECAKE!!!!!! Monday- salady yumminess!! Tuesday- Denny's fish and chips- Anne (the main woman at the chippy) is a LEGEND!! Man I wish I got a pic of her!!!!
Right time to move away from food methinks.... another great thing about the Vingoe household, is my HUGE bedroom!!! (Well it's officially still mine and Rella's...but anyways...).. This room makes me happy mainly because of the most AMAZING mattress!! You could quite literally lie in bed ALL DAY!! What is even more amazing about this mattress is that it is upon boxes- boxes still full of stuff from when ma and pa were planning to move to Leeds- before Heavenly Father changed their plans...cheeky thing!! Here be the awesomeness!!
Furthermore... this bedroom (much to Dave's dismay...) contains remains of my once great devotion to one Mr. Orlando Bloom....hehehe.....
And the last thing that makes me most joyous about this room... and which I am always surprised by... is my BEAUTIFUL wedding dress hanging on the wardrobe! Makes me want to wear it every day!
Hmmmmm.... *daydreaming*....
And to the last thing I shall tell you of about this most wonderful place.... my mum and dad not only have an amazing food storage (basically a supermarket in the lobby!)... but they also have a years supply of other essentials...hehe this quite literally made me laugh my head off- there's 72 rolls!!! And there's only Shell and Florence that live there!!! CRAZY :D
Well there's you go my lovelies!!! You may be lucky enough to get another post from me tomorrow- but then we're off again!! A week full of family!!! :D
Hope you've not been too sad whilst I was away!!
Much love!!

Good Wife... Proper Wife
Today I made up for my misbehaving yesterday :) (though I am still devouring the chocolatey goodness!!)...
So while Davey Babes was at uni I did a wee bit of spring cleaning :) and I REALLY ENJOYED IT!!! Though I have left the toilet for Dave :) hehe... but now everything is lemony fresh! I also did other wifely duties like the washing and ironing etc...
So today I was a good wife :) (just so you don't think I'm a meanie :)

Bad Wife...Spoilt Wife
I am a bit of both today :) In the most happy of ways of course!
So... as has been done a couple of times in my short but blissful married life... I have sent the Mr. down the road to Sainsbury's to stock up on some cakey/chocolatey/sweetie goodness...and yes... at 9.30 at night :) hehe (Sainsbury's stays open just for me :D)
When I suggest such trips to hubby, I always feel slightly guilty, because I always have no intention of walking with him- just reaping the rewards :D hehe... But he always accepts the challenge very willingly... which makes me feel even more guilty....
So yes I am now waiting for him to return from the adventure (I always get really worried when he goes out by himself in the dark.... ooooooo I hear the door :) WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP!! Right lets check out what he got today!!!!
1. 2 packs of strawberry laces :)
2. Teeth and Lips :)
3. Pack of 4 flakes :)
4. Werther's Originals (haven't had these for aaaaaaaggggeeees...good choice hubby!!)
5. Galaxy Counters
6. A big bar of Aero Mint :D
So I don't know about you... but I'm gonna wallow in my guiltiness, evilness and spoiltness!!! Muahahahahaha!!!! :D
I LOVE MARRIED LIFE!!!

The Sunday that scones would be proud of...
This morning I woke up early... too early :(
Because I knew the clocks were going forward, I moved my phone one hour ahead last night, and set the alarm for 8.15 (well 8.13 to be exact- always has to be a random number- can never end in 5 or 0- and yes I am a weirdo- I already know!). Thus when I was awoken this morning by my alarm, and was feeling rather sicky (morning sickness- not the pregnancy type- but the result of not enough sleep), and could hear no birds or nought outside, I thought I better go check the house clock... and ta da!! It was 7.13, so actually 6.13 for my body- which is just simply unheard of!!
So I waddled back to bed, trying to keep my eyes as closed as possible (so as to trick my body into thinking I was already asleep :), and sorted my phone out and set another alarm.... But very very sadly and frustratingly, I could not get back to sleep. I couldn't even do my theory of counting to 60 (shall tell you my sleeping theory another day :) which was very unnerving... This of course made me feel even iller.... *awwwww poor Bethy*.... So when my alarm finally went off at the right time, I quite literally could not be bothered! I was contemplating pulling a sicky from church (I was genuinely not feeling well), but all I could hear in the back of my head was my dear mama saying... "See how you feel after you've had a shower".... plus I was really excited to wear my awesome outfit I had planned out :D (prideful I know... my clothes being prideful I mean!).
So I had a shower, and all was right in the world once again- this was helped by a double decker choccy bar for breakfast :D YUM YUM!! And I was blessed very much by a most wondiferous Sunday! The primary kids were AWESOME!! Like I would have been happy to take every one of them home with me today :)
These blessings continued on the return home :) watched the first disc of LOTR Fellowship of the Ring (so that I would fall asleep- the perfect part of a napping Sunday!). And then had a most delicous slow cooked sausage caserole with roasties, green beans, carrots and our left over defrosted yorkshires :) YUM YUM!!
ANDDDDD!!!! To top it off... because I was feeling grub gloomy due to lackage of any yummy scrummy desert... I decided to go recipe book hunting... and made some scones!!! YEP!!! I MADE SCONES!!! Well duh! They don't need eggs :D hehe.... after a slight hiccup in realising I put 50g excess flour in.. everything else went very well :) and they turned out much better than expected (well it is me :)... so I think Davey Babes and I will be munching our way through these over the next few days! Here they are!! (a bit brown and stubby I know... but still very good since I haven't made scones since like year 7!!).
Stupid mobile phone uploaded it stupidly >:(... but anyways... you get the picture!! The only thing missing was some cornish clotted cream...mmmmhmm :D But shall have to wait for that till summer!! WOOP WOOP!! Ha! I just called Shell to tell her how motherly and wifey I am in making scones 9pm at night :)
Well I'm off for a scone :) by the way... that's scone as in "gone" not scone as in "phone" (freaks!!!!)

Confused.com!!
So as you wonderful peeps know, Davey Babes and I have been car hunting... this alone is very tiring, but then when I decided to start checking insurance too, well it just made it that bit tougher!
However, I was happily surprised, when commencing with the confused.com marlarky to compare insurance prices for various cars, the average was about £950 a year- which to me seemed pretty darn good (this is me, with my mum on as an added driver). So car hunting got a bit more exciting, and we were considering more efficient and hence newer used cars...
But.. as per usual.. all good things (well with regards to my driving and car experiences) come to an end.
Today I was searching again, using EXACTLY the same details, and insurance prices (including cars already looked at) went up to the £2000 mark :( not pleasing unto me!! And for a very long time made me very confused- which is exactly what the website promises not to happen... very very sadtimes!! So somewhere along the lines something must have gone wrong :(
This shall not stop us from buying a car though!! Just means I shall be working hard with Avon over the summer, and we'll starting praying EVEN harder for Davey Baby to find a good mech eng. job! (Fingers, legs, toes crossed- well at least me legs are at the moment!).
So I decided to cheer myself up by sharing my woes with the car experts (ma and pa), ate some chocolate ice cream (always useful), and am now chilaxing watching Criminal Minds- always makes your life seem much calmer :) I would LOVE to be a criminal profiler- not out of the realms I guess, as all the characters on the show go on about having a criminology degree :) Could get a bit depressing though... anyways.. I'm waffling now- kinda proves I'm relaxed though methinks!
So here's to hoping for a most wonderful weekend!!

Get it right!!!
So as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, lots of people get the wrong idea! This misunderstanding has occured throughout my life! Luckily I knew what was black and white- and I had good friends who knew this too! Here are some examples of mix ups....
So here's to getting it right!!! And not having to feel like you have to defend yourself against the mass media :D
Thanks Booth, Brennan, Sweets, Cam, Hodgins and Angela :) You make my life that much easier!
- You can't kiss anyone till your married (said to me by a girl in my year during a P.E lesson when I was like 13).
- That me keeping the Law of Chastity meant I wore a chastity belt (perhaps my favourite!)
- Having an amazing English teacher asking me if I was ok doing my media coursework on the Sixth Sense, or if I wanted her to give me something else- as she didn't know if I was allowed to watch things with ghosts in... bless her :)
- The good ol' Polygamy problem in a piece of psychology homework. This time I didn't have to explain the difference between us and Fundamentals, as a good friend of mine already explained this in a previous class- which made me very happy :D
So here's to getting it right!!! And not having to feel like you have to defend yourself against the mass media :D
Thanks Booth, Brennan, Sweets, Cam, Hodgins and Angela :) You make my life that much easier!

Meet Kate :)
Say hello to my friend Kate...
The best way for me to describe Kate is that she's Luna Lovegood... (from Harry Potter).. but with no magical powers- despite what she might try to convince you!!
She is one of those friends that is ABSOLUTELY random in the most AMAZING way!! She quite literally breathes another air- I'm sure of it!! And of course it doesn't help that she's a wee bit blonde ;) hehe...
Kate is a good 3 and a half years younger than me- but like all my greatest friends, our age gap never matters! It's quite literally like having a little sister, but you can kick them out when they get annoying- which has happened with Miss Kate, but in the most hilarious of ways!!
So I've decided to share with you the reasons why I LOVE KATE!!

So I've decided to share with you the reasons why I LOVE KATE!!
- She falls asleep playing Mario Kart on the Wii :) see below hehe... (boy she's gonna love me today!!)
- I have known her since her life began! Her family and mine pretty much matched each others in terms of age and sexes of the kids! Which means I know her like the back of my hand, which is always fun!
- She has one cooking specialty, which she treated me to once- that of Supernoodles!! She is DA MASTER!!
- She likes sugar... A LOT!! She used to put sooooo much on her porridge on early seminary mornings... actaully maybe she's made out of sugar and that's why she's so crazy!! Makes sense!!
- On a more serious note (perhaps the only serious thing I have to say hehe..) she is super de duperly musically talented- i.e. she can hear a song and work out how to play it on the piano- these sorts of musicians make me SICK!!! :D
- She has a quite HILARIOUS relationship with her mum and dad, which is always funny to hear about...deary me...
- She's just a wee bit of a hypochondriac- or should I just say she's very dramatic? She loves drama! I can still see her shocked drama/gossip face...fun fun fun!!
- She is so easy to spook!! Like you can completely freak her out- and when she's really scared (just by telling a silly ghost story), she does this like tiger raw and puts her hands out in front of her like she's scaring off the scary...hehe...
- My mum and dad are her best friends- like she goes to their house after she finishes school!! She used to do this when I was at home- but she still does it now- so I think she likes Shell and Florence more than me- I get little updates from my ma about how Kate is....just BRILLIANT!! And totally Kate!!
- She is quite literally SUNSHINE in a wee body!!
The girl on the right isn't me :) But the left is defo Kate :) <3

Just Dance!!!
I am starting a new exercise regime.. well I am going to attempt to anyways!! And it revolves around just about my favouritist thing to do.... DANCING!! :) woop de woop!
My wonderful mother bought me the game 'Just Dance' (she's always trying to find a way to get me exercising ;) hehe..).. and today I went on it... and GIDDY AUNT!! I LOVE IT!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! Despite the silly sensor bar not picking up my smooth moves, and hence getting a poo score- I had an AMAZING sweaty betty time! The only one where I did half alright was the one that resembled a woman doing housework and rocking a baby..... just molly mormon typical!! At least I know where my real skills lie!! :D hehe.... So I have a feeling I will be sticking with this regime- got to at least give it a go for a week!
So this awesome dancyness, well it got me athinking- unbelievable I know!! Dancing makes me happy!! Like it fills me with alsorts of lovliness!! Gets rid of all kinds of stress and tiredness... makes it all go away!! :) So I think I shall dance through my days from now on- do a little jiggle and a wiggle anytime I feel stressed or worn down- and TA DA!! As good as new again! I may have to suggest this technique for my dad to use (he's a psychotherapist :)... it always works with my mum- that and singing very loud- which is something that I have also come to adopt....
Here's a clip from Grey's Anatomy that I caught the other day :) made me giggle lots :) and fits my dancing theory perfectly!!
Excuse the funky subtitles!!
So DANCE!! Because 'dancing makes you brave' :) hehe... xxx

The Awakenings of a Power Cut
Dave woke me up this morning to tell me we had no electricity- OH WHAT JOY- I thought... in a most sarcastic tone of course... Firstly we were in a bit of a panic, as we thought our electricity may have been turned off due to not paying a bill- as the silly NPower peeps keep sending letters to the previous owner even though we've contacted them *angry face!!!*.. However we soon discovered the power was gone to the whole street... So whilst the work men worked away (were LOTS of white vans- Dave was very pleased to see an ACTUAL engineer- not one of these silly technicians that call themselves engineers when they've not studied engineering- sensitive subject with Pippin- I shall just warn you hehe), so yes whilst they worked away for around 5 hours, these are the most momentous things I realised whilst in darkness (in a sense :)...
- Never attempt to use the microwave to make yummy porridge for breakfast- the utter devastation and the realisation of your own stupidity is not worth it! Just eat Cheerios :)
- When getting anything out of the freezer or fridge get it out super duper fast :) don't let the coldness escape!!
- You realise (well I did)... just how much you love food- I was very concerned for our stocked up ickle freezer!!
- It's handy to have a gas cooker :) so you can still have a yummy hot dinner- we had jacket potatoes with cheese, tuna and sweetcorn, and a yummy green salad. DELISH!! Just make sure you have some matches!!
- I was grateful for having lots of candles- even though we didn't need them it was nice to know they were there hehe...
- You appreciate being able to go to the loo in the light!! Trust me!! Well especially if your toilet, and bathroom don't have windows in them.
- You continue to turn light switches on even though you know they won't work.
- There's a great appreciation for a good old telephone with a wire :) means you can still call your mummy and make sure there isn't anything you need to do to rescue the food!!
- Always have a good book! Davey Babes and I spent most of the morning/afternoon reading- and boy was it enjoyable :) Nothing beats a good ready read for a couple of hours!
- You realise your addiction to facebook.. and all things internety... *hangs head in shame*
- You wish you had a wind up radio!
- And finally... once the power is back on, you realise you didn't really miss that much... I was kinda relaxing/napping when Dave gave me the tap to say the lights were on... and I just went back to sleep!! :)

It's My Life
And boy is my life amazing! And I feel somewhat humbled... all thanks to Comic Relief.
I always forget how Comic Relief, never brings me to tears of laughter, but to tears of sadness, and selfishness. This happened tonight. I was having a fun little night with Davey Baby- sent him out to buy some chocolate supplies and two red noses to show my support :) As you can see below...
Then I was just watching the Comic Relief-to be honest I was just waiting to see Take That-yeh baby!!! And then one of those clips came on... and I realised- I need to donate money... so I went online and donated... then Dave Tenant came on with another clip, showing kids in a hospital waiting for treatment for malaria- a completely preventable disease. There were just queues and queues of mothers with their children outside the hospital- just waiting for any hope possible. Watching this and Dave Tenants emotional response, really got me thinking. Then he pointed to us and said that he couldn't believe there are people who watch comic relief and don't donate-that person could have been me- and I really hope it's not you. After that clip, Adele sang 'Someone Like You', and I pretty much just burst into tears. For those of you that know me well, I'm very good at hiding my emotions.. but I could not help it. All I thought was how stupid and ungrateful I am, thinking that my life is tough because we don't have a car. But these people, and so many other people in the UK and else where, don't have homes, access to adequate healthcare, and there are still children who are living the first- and often last few years of life- suffering from malnutrition. So today I'm glad to say that I've provided money for two mosquito nets that cut the chance of getting malaria by 50%- and the feeling of knowing I may be saving someone's life, is far far far greater than the feeling of getting a car. I just hope this perspective on life sticks around- not just in me, but in a whole host of people. I can do so much more, even if it's just helping those around me...
So here's to a comic relief that was not so comical, but soooooo much more appreciated than ever before! What are you gonna do? :)

Mr and Mrs Patrick's Day :)
We have decided that this day belongs to us.. what's the point of having a last name if you can't use it for your own benefit! So sing praises and shower us with gifts :) Okay, you don't need to go that far- though it would be thoroughly appreciated!
To be honest I completely forgot it was even St. Patricks day- what kinda brit am I?? I realised once I went to institute and heard the wonderful YSA demonstrating their fairly adequate Irish accents.. So I am going to totally claim that Dave and I celebrated this splediferous day with a yummy meal. The meal was AMAZING!! Although it twas planned before the day began...
Anyways... I am just blabbing now... trying to create some big build up to of scrummy dinner.... *insert dramatic music here*.... we made homemade meatball subs!!! WAS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! Yep, definitely deserved everyone of those o's. Here's a piccy wicky of the amazingness!! (And yes most of my life- and hence this blog-revolves around food...hmmm I think I shall have a hot chocolate in a bit :)
Ok, it looked WAY better in person...and tasted EVEN better than it looked!!! Though, I think I filled mine a wee bit too much, making it rather messy and difficult to eat- but I still cleared the plate! Will defo be doing this again!!!
Oooooo hubby just asked if I wanted anything- so he's in the kitchen making me a hot choccy!! :)
So there's a dedication to St. Patrick's day :) Plus this gorge pic of me and Pippin, on holiday with the fam in sunny cornwall last summer!! (Love it because I look pretty and I ain't even got make up on, which is always very nice :) So happy Patrick's day..or whatever :) hehe...
Lots of Love
The Patrick Pair!!
xxxx
p.s.. I did a trial run of door knocking- but 8 out of 10 of the doors I knocked were out... and I had one 'no thank you'.. and one 'yes please'. So will be attempting this again Saturday :)

Oh Avon... how I love thee!!
For those of you that don't know... I am an Avon Lady :) and BOY am I proud of it!! Only been doing it the past couple of months, but I have already found that whenever I see other cosmetic adverts on tv I get very frustrated.. firstly because I truly believe Avon has some of the best stuff out there at awesome prices.. and secondly THEY'RE STEALING MY SALES!!! Hehe ;)
So, this past order I decided to treat myself to a couple of make up bits and bobs.... and GIDDY AUNT!! I am not even kidding!! It's floopin' AMAZING!! So here is my loot from the delivery today (and another thing, I get SUPER excited about the deliveries- it really is like Christmas :)
Apologies for the poor quality pic! So here we have an all over face brush, an angled blush brush, Colordisiac lipstick in satin sheets= BRIGHT PINK :) and ideal shade minerals foundation in 'shell'.
The first thing to shock you from this is the choice of a bright pink lipstick :) well to be honest I'm bored of boring make up :) well lips... and this lipstick not only last ages, pops, and makes my teeth look really white (always a bonus!!), but it is also scented with aphrodisiac scents :) so I have to fight Davey Baby off hehe....just kidding ;) don't want you to feel too uncomfortable reading this. This lipstick doesn't come out till brochure 8 (currently on 7), but as a representative I get to buy demos to try them out and talk endlessly about them to my customers (so today it's you lucky few.. whoever you are!! hehe).
The second thing that may surprise you from the selection (for those of you that know my make up habits), is that I have foundation!! I have NEVER worn foundation in my life- concealer here and there is as far as I go usually. This is because I'd convinced myself that wearing foundation would give me really bad skin, and spots- and to be honest, I love my skin.. This fear was probably not helped by all the orange girls at school who had pretty darn bad complexions... However, in becoming an Avon Lady (thinking of actually calling myself Lady Avon :) hehe) I decided that I would buy some simple powder just to even up my skin tone a wee bit- and I guess just as an experiment (as Avon has a 90 day money back guarantee on all products, so if it didn't work..bye bye- and yep this is me selling avon to you :) hehe... ANYWAYS!!! So I tried it today- with the all over face brush (which by itself is IMPRESSIVE due to its absolute utter softness..maybe I should carry it round brushing it on people's faces just to show how awesome it is!).. so yep.. tried it... and floopin' Nora... I could not believe how amazing it looked, and just how little I needed to put on to make my skin look that bit more flawless I guess... and it was so light... and well, it's safe to say this is DEFO a keeper!! :)
Lastly the blush brush- I was supposed to be getting a blush duo (soon to be in brochure 8 too), but it was out of stock for the mo, so they're gonna get it to me when they can! Sooo I had to use this even softer brush (yes that's right I said EVEN SOFTER) with some blusher I had in a wee compact make up set that I have (the brand shall not be named..hehe). And again.. I could not believe the results. The angle of the brush made it EASY PEASY to put on the blusher in the places where I wanted, and it helps to define cheek bones perfectly!! Usually, with somewhat regular (i.e not Avon :) brushes, the blush all just clumps in one area of the cheek, and you end up looking like you're either embarrassed, or you've just got in from the cold after a brisk walk- both of which are looks I do not particularly desire!!
So here's to a flawless, Reese Witherspoon like face (she is the face of Avon just incase you are wondering!!).
Oh!! And also another fab purchase- nothing to do with make up whatsoever- but still Avon :).. my thigh shaper :) - it can also be used for arms :)
For someone who hates exercise, this seems like a somewhat child friendly way to get me going- well at least tone me up a wee bit! Added bonus- unlike most exercise, I don't need to take my inhaler after using it, AND you can use it while sitting on the sofa watching tv!! Now that's what I call exercise :) LOVE IT!! And I will continue to love it as long as it doesn't cause me any unwanted aches- though as my mother the exercise junkie would say- 'Pain means it's working'. So we'll see how long it lasts hey?!
Tomorrow I am going to be brave and try handing out brochures door to door in our area!! Wish me luck- not a fan of the whole talking to strangers shabackle!! But hopefully Heavenly Father will give me courage- may even get a few missionary opportunities on the way!! Fingers crossed!! I'm sure I'll let you know how it goes... :)
Oh.. and of course!! If you're interested in ordering any WONDERFUL Avon products from me just let me know!! :)
Love...

Guilty Pleasures...
I have decided to let you in on one of my many guilty pleasure- Bridal Plasty...
You may be thinking...what the heck is this?? And rightly so as I had never heard of it till I came across it in my far too often channel flicking one Tuesday night.... At first I HATED it... but like any guilty pleasure, my love grew and grew... into a slightly obsessive interest... What's even worse is that the same thing has happened to hubby :) hehe :) He gets into tv programmes a wee bit too much- like he expresses his dissatisfaction with the various characters/peeps, loudly and clearly- it's quite hilarious really!!
So back to the brilliance of Bridal Plasty. Like the greatest and most dramatic of tv programmes- it is all american :) It is basically a competition for a wedding- not just ANY wedding but like a major celebrity worthy wedding. Each week they have various challenges with regards to the wedding day- like the cake, flowers and of course the dress, and each week one person is voted off. BUT... this is not it!!! As part of the celebrity package, each person who wins the challenges gets a plastic surgery of their choice- there and then!! NOT KIDDING!! Is CRAZY!! Like these women want to change their bodies SOOOOO much and half of them are half the size of me!!! INSANE!! But I think this is part of the reason why I LOVE IT!! Seeing all these psycho brides to be, fighting for surgery- then seeing them in A LOT of pain... rather satisfying methinks- so grateful for being a somewhat regular woman...well in comparison to these ladies at least!
Anyways..just thought I'd introduce you to the madness :) (btw Sky Living, 10pm Tuesdays :)
Oh and the challenge tonight was about bouquets.. so I want to show you mine- I LOVED THEM!! And guess what... my daddy put them together :) he's so clever!! (Love you Florence... and Shell of course!!)

I do like Mondays..
From what I can always remember Mondays have always been like trying to walk backwards with your eyes closed, in heels up a very steep uneven hill- unbalanced, difficult, and a bit too much like exercise (which is never enjoyable in my books!!). I have a feeling that a few people would agree with me on this! Therefore, I LOVE the following song... man it reminds me of travels in the car with ma and pa and their old school music :)
But I had a realisation, that I DO LIKE MONDAYS!!! SHOCK HORROR!!! :D Well at least this wonderful Monday... so here are my marvellous Monday moments!!
But I had a realisation, that I DO LIKE MONDAYS!!! SHOCK HORROR!!! :D Well at least this wonderful Monday... so here are my marvellous Monday moments!!
- I realised that I can still play the piano- I quite literally haven't played the piano- like properly in AAAGEEEES!! It truly sucks, and thus I hadn't really thought about the pleasure of playing the piano, and kinda forgot that I could play the instrument at all... That was until I was watching a TV advert, and Adele's 'Someone Like You' was playing in the background, and I thought how pretty the piano was, and then abra ka dabra!! I was like... I COULD PLAY THAT BECAUSE I PLAY THE PIANO!!! Sounds slightly crazy- but believe me, it was like being given a second chance on life- although this now makes me really want a piano :( may have to hijack the Institute building's piano tomorrow :D ooooo I'm excited..
- I only had 1 hour of lectures- at 2pm :D which meant a most wonderful lie in :) and being able to watch Gilmore Girls in my pjs, while eating a bowl of frostie's just relaxing- believe me this was AMAZING!!
- Got to listen to the awesome Bruno Mars album as I walked to uni- and I didn't need to take my inhaler :D :D :D
- Did a wee exchange at Primark and got some beaut new chinos :) love love love- perfect for spring/summer :)
- McD's for lunch :)
- Getting EVEN MORE STUDENT MONEY!!! WOOP DE BLOOMING WOOP!! This means a car may well be on its way- yes that's right, a REAL ACTUAL DRIVABLE CAR!!! AHHHHHH!!!
- Watching the Monday amazing night tv :) specifically ANTM :D :D and Glee- what's even better is that it's a CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!! And then there's gonna be Britains Best Hairdresser, or whatever it be called :)
- Our wedding album is soon to be on its way :)
- Had a HILARIOUS telephone call with my dad- he was feeding me liquorice alsorts over the phone- I tell you something- I think Shell and Florence are going crazy in each others company- all I can say is that it is a very good job they don't drink- they defo don't need any encouragement :) hehe. Oh how I love them!!
- All in all... I am SUPER DE DUPERLY BLESSED!! I will be saying lots of gratefuls in my prayers tonight.. and I hope you will too!
